About Our Business

RMTS is owned and operated by Roy Moorefield.  Roy is a CPA licensed in
Colorado, California, and South Carolina and has been providing tax
services to businesses for more than 20 years.  Prior to forming RMTS,
Roy worked for Ernst & Young, LLP, for over 17 years.  He left E&Y as a
Tax Principal in late 2003 to move to Colorado and form RMTS.

Roy began his career in Ernst & Young’s Greenville, South Carolina, office,
where he advised and served corporations small and large, partnerships,
individuals, and tax exempt entities on tax and related matters.  Roy later
moved to the West Coast to join E&Y’s National Office West in mergers
and acquisitions.  While in EYNOW, Roy advised a wide variety of
businesses on tax matters related to acquisitions and transactions, including
Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms.

Roy received BA and BS degrees from Presbyterian College in South
Carolina.  He also received an MBA from Duke University.
